Well, I can't believe that you entered the world 2 years ago...where has the time gone!?! Over the last two years, we have enjoyed getting to know the person that God is creating you to be. Even though you are going through this stage of yelling, it is often revolved around the fact that you are trying to show us that even though you are just barely two there isn't anything you can't do. We love this determination you have...you definitely get it from Mommy's side of the family...we do pray that you will use it for God's glory. We know that once you accept what Jesus did on the cross for you, nobody will be able to tell you any differently. We also love your free spirit...nothing ever seems to get you down. Sometimes rules apply to you and sometimes they don't, but either way, you usually come back around to listening to Mommy and Daddy. It is almost as if you are seeing if the rules are still the rules...and just in case you are wondering...they are still the rules! :) You are turning into quite a beautiful little girl, but we don't want you ever to focus on the outward beauty. The world will tell you that outward beauty is the most important thing, but remember what is on the inside is what matters the most. We pray that you will always feel loved and wanted...that you will find our home as a safe place for you to just be you. As we have said many times before, "Sophie is our greatest unexpected blessing we have received." Happy Birthday, Sophie Sugai! We love you more than words could ever say!
